Working out isnt just a physical transformation.
There is a misconception about physically working out. People think that it only affects your physical appearance. Physically moving your body and performing actions that you felt that you would never be able to do push your mental health to the next level You start to see yourself in a whole new light You start to see yourself as the person that can do things instead of the person cant. You start to walk by mirrors and think, “Look at that good lookin person!” You see yourself trying new things instead of staying away from them. Life is never the same after you start to workout and push your body to a new level.
There are also chemical responses from working out. Your hormones start to be released in the direction that they’re supposed to be. For men, their testosterone will increase and allow their bodies to heal, feel rested, and be happier. For women, their body dysmorphia starts to disappear and they’re able to see themselves the way others see them. There’s endorphins that are released during pleasurable experiences like working out. There’s the three monoamine neurotransmitters which work against neurological disorders. Working out literally makes you look different, feel different, and improve brain function.
There are no reasons to not workout. You have just as much time in the day as everyone else. Are you willing to give up watching tv every night so you have time to workout? Are you willing to give up a little bit of sleep? Are you willing to prioritize yourself over your kids so that you can make sure to stay on the earth longer and be with your kids? It will always take sacrifice but the sacrifice will always be rewarded.
The transformation you feel from working out every week will make you feel years younger. It will clear the fog in your brain. It will make your joints work like they used to. It will create a longevity that most people dont get to experience. When you start young and continue into your old age, you wont need to go to a senior care facility. You’ll be able to continue living in the world and being a member of society.
Your entire life will completely change the moment you start to workout and lift weights.
